The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Cherry County in north central Nebraska...
  Northwestern Keya Paha County in north central Nebraska...

* Until 115 AM CDT.

* At 1222 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Littleburg to near Kilgore, moving east at 45
  mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 
           tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 
           roofs, and outbuildings.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near...
  Valentine around 1240 AM CDT.
  Norden around 100 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include
Highway 97 crossing the Niobrara River, Crookston, Sparks, Smith
Falls State Park, and Schlagel Creek State Wildlife Management Area.

 Highway 183 between mile markers 220 and 224.

FOR NORTHEASTERN CHERRY AND NORTHWESTERN KEYA PAHA COUNTIES...

At 1258 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Wewela to 9 miles east of Valentine, moving east
at 45 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 
         roofs, and outbuildings.
