* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Logan County in northeastern Colorado...
  Northeastern Weld County in northeastern Colorado...

* Until 545 PM MDT.

* At 508 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
  10 miles northwest of Westplains to 7 miles southeast of Pawnee
  Buttes, or along a line from 33 miles northwest of Sterling to 36
  miles north of Fort Morgan, moving east at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Westplains.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing
dangerous hail and damaging winds.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM MDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN LOGAN AND NORTHEASTERN WELD COUNTIES...

At 520 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 9
miles north of Westplains to 11 miles north of New Raymer, or along a
line from 31 miles northwest of Sterling to 33 miles west of
Sterling, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
  Westplains.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and dangerous hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING WILL EXPIRE AT 545 PM MDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN LOGAN AND NORTHEASTERN WELD COUNTIES...

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, small
hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain are still possible with these
thunderstorms.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT
Wednesday for a portion of northeast Colorado.
