* At 1211 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Sistersville to near Elizabeth, moving east at
50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Clarksburg, Weston, Harrisville, Glenville, Grantsville,
Bridgeport, Shinnston, Stonewood, Nutter Fort, Salem, Pennsboro,
Lumberport, West Union, Anmoore, Jackson Mill, Cedar Creek State
Park, Stonewall Jackson, Enterprise, West Milford, and Burnsville.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 79 between mile markers 75 and 128.
Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 41 and 82.
Route 33 between mile markers 1 and 7.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

BRAXTON...NORTHWESTERN UPSHUR...EASTERN TYLER...WEST CENTRAL BARBOUR
AND HARRISON COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...
The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled. However, gusty winds and
heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 PM EDT for
northern, north central, northeastern and northwestern West Virginia.
