The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  South central Carroll County in north central Maryland...
  Central Frederick County in north central Maryland...

* Until 400 PM EDT.

* At 321 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Boonsboro to near Brunswick, moving east at 40
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches 
           to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as 
           damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by 
           downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. 
           Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

* Locations impacted include...
  Frederick, Harry Grove Stadium, Ballenger Creek, Mount Airy,
  Brunswick, Walkersville, Braddock Heights, New Market, Clover Hill,
  Discovery-Spring Garden, Linganore-Bartonsville, Jefferson,
  Myersville, Buckeystown, Libertytown, Monrovia, Rosemont,
  Burkittsville, Winfield, and Petersville.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 400 PM EDT
FOR SOUTH CENTRAL CARROLL AND EAST CENTRAL FREDERICK COUNTIES IN
NORTH CENTRAL MARYLAND...

At 353 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms with a history of producing wind 
damage were located along a line extending from near New Market to 
near Green Valley, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

         fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage
