The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northwestern Lawrence County in northeastern Kentucky...
  Carter County in northeastern Kentucky...

* Until 545 PM EDT.

* At 503 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Camp Dix, or 11 miles northwest of Carter Caves
  State Park, moving southeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Olive Hill, Carter Caves State Park, and Gesling around 510 PM 
  EDT.
  Grayson Lake State Park around 525 PM EDT.
  Webbville around 535 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Houckville, Grahn, Soldier, Globe, Carter, Willard, and Hitchins.
