The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Pulaski County in northwestern Indiana...
  Starke County in northwestern Indiana...

* Until 100 PM EDT/noon CDT/.

* At 1219 PM EDT/1119 AM CDT/, severe thunderstorms capable of 
  producing both tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage 
  were located along a line extending from near Wheatfield to near 
  Rensselaer, moving east at 60 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornades and wind gusts in excess of 80 MPH. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* These dangerous storms will be near...
  Medaryville around 1225 PM EDT.
  North Judson around 1130 AM CDT.
  Francesville around 1230 PM EDT.
  Winamac around 1240 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these tornadic storms include Beardstown,
Ober, English Lake, Oak Grove, Vanmeter Park, Lakeside In Pulaski
County, Denham, Brems, Ripley, and Pulaski.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 100 PM EDT/NOON CDT/ FOR
PULASKI AND STARKE COUNTIES...

At 1238 PM EDT/1138 AM CDT/, a severe squall line capable of
producing both tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage was
located along a line extending from near North Judson to
Francesville, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Tornadoes and wind gusts in excess of 80 MPH.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.
