The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northeastern Livingston County in central Illinois...
  Southwestern Kankakee County in northeastern Illinois...
  North central Ford County in east central Illinois...

* Until 115 AM CDT.

* At 1239 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing a 
  tornado was located near Dwight, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  northeastern Livingston, southwestern Kankakee and north central
  Ford Counties, including the following locations... Campus, Union
  Hill, Cabery, Emington, Buckingham, and Reddick.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

FORD COUNTIES...

At 1257 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 7 miles west of Herscher, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Buckingham, Cabery, Campus, and Emington.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN LIVINGSTON...SOUTHWESTERN
KANKAKEE AND NORTH CENTRAL FORD COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 115 AM CDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened and no longer 
appears capable of producing a tornado. Therefore, the warning will 
be allowed to expire.  However, small hail and heavy rain are still 
possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for
central, northeastern and east central Illinois.
