* Tornado Warning for...
  Southern Fountain County in west central Indiana...
  Northwestern Parke County in west central Indiana...
  Central Vermillion County in west central Indiana...

* Until 600 PM EDT.

* At 527 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Newport, or 16 miles southeast of Danville, moving
  southeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Newport, Cayuga, Kingman, Bloomingdale, Marshall, Turkey Run State
  Park, and Lodi.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

CENTRAL FOUNTAIN...NORTHWESTERN PARKE AND EAST CENTRAL VERMILLION
COUNTIES...

At 537 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Newport, or 22 miles southeast of Danville, moving
southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR SOUTH CENTRAL FOUNTAIN...NORTHWESTERN
PARKE AND EAST CENTRAL VERMILLION COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been
cancelled. However, large hail and damaging winds remain likely and a
Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for
west central Indiana.
