...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM PDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Southern Lyon County in west central Nevada...
  Western Mineral County in western Nevada...

* WHEN...Until 400 PM PDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 102 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.8 and 1.1 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Mainly rural areas of Southern Lyon and Western Mineral Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
