...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM PDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...San Bernardino County in southern California...
* WHEN...Until 715 PM PDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may
become impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 411 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 0.75 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Ludlow.

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

- At 707 PM PDT, Local law enforcement reported roads washed out in
the advisory area due to previous rains. Minor flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 1 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Off ramps along Interstate 40 are the most likely places to
experience minor flooding. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5
inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will
result in minor flooding.

The Flood Advisory will expire at 815 PM PDT this evening for a
portion of southern California, including the following area, San
Bernardino near Ludlow.
The heavy rain has ended. However, a Flash Flood Warning remains in
effect until 9:15 PM PDT for National Trails Highway between Ludlow
and Amboy. Heed any remaining road closures.
