...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northern Indiana, including the following 
  counties, Cass IN, Fulton IN, Pulaski and White.

* WHEN...Until 400 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1246 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Logansport, Winamac, Grissom Afb, Monon, Walton,
    Francesville, Royal Center, Medaryville, Lincoln, Pulaski,
    Galveston, Kewanna, Burnettsville, Fulton, Onward, Thornhope,
    Star City, Bell Center, Lake Cicott and Lucerne.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

  - At 318 AM EDT, emergency management reported minor flooding
    is ongoing. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

The Flood Advisory will expire at 6 AM EDT early this morning for a 
portion of northern Indiana, including the following areas, Cass IN, 
Fulton IN, Pulaski and White.

The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a 
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
