EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
The backside of an upper level disturbance exits early Monday,
which should help to finally scatter out the ongoing low clouds of
the past few days. Through the rest of the week, a series of dry
frontal boundaries are forecast to move through the region. Ahead
of the first one Wednesday, gusty southerly winds and warmer
temperatures return Tuesday. A stronger cold front looks to move
through next weekend with below seasonal average temperatures.

Mostly quiet weather is expected for the next week with frequent
dry cold front passages. The windiest weather will occur Tuesday
ahead of a weak cold front, with southerly gusts of 20-30 mph.
Initially warm weather Tuesday to Thursday will transition to cold
weather this weekend but no precipitation will occur.

Areas of dense fog may persist across parts of southeast Oklahoma
early this morning ahead of a cold front that will move south
across the area this morning. Following the passage of the cold
front, north winds may gust to near 30 miles an hour at times
today across parts of eastern Oklahoma.
